Since young, I have always been captivated with the magic of storybooks, and the world in which they create and allow for you to escape to.
My art is a reflection of this.
I focus on the feminine spirit and the flora and fauna that surrounds my being and thoughts. The small details in every petal and seed. Those quiet moments in amongst the chaos.
Every artwork created, is captured from these small moments. To honor a feeling trapped in time.

How did you find your Artistic style?
I have always had a great sense of who I am, how I see the world and what I wish to capture. I have never had to search for my style or the meaning within. My younger self still lives within adult me. Still the same storybook style, only with a more refined look and feel. From fairytales in books to animation. I still view the world for what it is. Or perhaps with a more colourful and peaceful view.
What is your creative process?
It starts with an idea from an emotion, that sparks an image in my mind. I sketch a rough idea and go about collecting references that I capture or search for.I slowly piece things together, leaving room for change as the concept evolves.Once the concept is clear, I sketch the final piece and trace onto the prepared wood.I always leave space to freehand new details.The piece then remains untouched for a few days, for change of mind and missing details. Once the desire to paint arrives. I allow my brush and paint to flow with water.
