A little bit about me…

Since young, I have been fascinated with the magic of storybooks and the world in which they create and allow for you to escape to.

My art is a reflection of this.

The use of watercolour and mixed media are used to create a storybook visual depiction of my Southern Coastal Kenyan-Pemba heritage.

My art is focused on the feminine spirit and all that surrounds my being and thoughts. Flora and fauna, to the traditional ways of painting our skin and fabrics. Every artwork created is different from the one before.
